Technical University of Munich (TUM) is one of Europe’s leading technical universities, and home to a diverse set of brilliant students and researchers. With “TEDxTUM – Pushing boundaries”, we aimed to shed light on the diverse cutting-edge science and technology both within and around the Technical University of Munich. This was the first ever TEDx Event held at the Technical University of Munich, it took place on June 17th, 2014. With the help of our team and sponsors, it became a huge success!
About the Theme: pushing boundaries
The limits to what is possible can not only be found at the edge of science and technology, but also in the more intangible fields of the mind, and in the exploration of what it means to be human. Pushing boundaries is about challenging the preconceptions we hold, to discover new ideas that are truly worth spreading.
