Raised on bread and music, Cosma Joy is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter from Munich. Music is often described as a collection of human experiences, a universal language that conveys emotions and connects people. For Cosma, it is also a way to tell her story and to inspire people to think twice about theirs. On the TEDxTUM stage, she performed two songs which are close to her heart.

About Cosma Joy

Cosma Joy, 20, is a singer and songwriter from Munich. It was music which connected her parents, who met while playing together in a band, and this has shaped her life since childhood. At the age of 16, she left school and dedicated herself to the music she often heard at home: Jazz, Folk, and Rock. At just 17, she had found her own voice and was the “Artist of the Week” at Puls. At the 2018 Puls Festival, she performed with the Münchner Rundfunk Orchester, and provided backup for Tom Odell and Tom Walker. Recently, she performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
